There’s no Substitute for Toilet Paper
With the recent virus-fueled run on toilet paper, many Bayfield and Durango area residents are being forced to resort to alternative options. In recent days here at Solid Plumbing and Heating, we’ve seen and heard tales of kleenex, paper towels, restaurant napkins, wet wipes, and even rags. Here is our PSA Reminder: There is no substitute for toilet paper. Anything other than toilet paper and waste that gets flushed down your toilet can and will back up your plumbing.
We’re Here For You
We’re in unprecedented times. Solid Plumbing and Heating has been serving our community for over 20 years. During this challenging time, we are ready to serve the needs of our customers and team while doing our best to protect the needs of our community at large. Your safety and ours is our priority every day.
In the early 20th Century, American plumbers adopted the slogan, “The Plumber Protects the Health of the Nation” as a reminder to the public of the importance of sanitation that the plumbing profession provides. We provide a vital role in maintaining the health and safety of our community. Therefore, we will remain open during this time of social distancing. If you’re experiencing problems with your Plumbing, Sewer or in-floor heating systems, you can count on us to make the appropriate fix or recommendation.
Clean And Safe
We will be following all cleaning and safety protocols recommended by CDC and Colorado state agencies. Any team members that have a fever, are showing signs of sickness, or who have been known to be exposed will be asked to remain at home.
We are open and working service calls in homes. We are here for you in case of emergencies. But, we also need to take caution to protect our team members and make sure they stay healthy as well. In many cases, we will be able to troubleshoot your problems from outside the home with crawl space, attic or basement access. That will help to minimize face to face contact. We will be following protocols to maintain a safe work environment by wearing gloves, wearing masks if needed, and disinfecting work areas in your home and in our trucks after each call. We ask that during this time, you work with us so that we may provide the services needed.
If You Need Us Call!
We greatly appreciate our customers and team members here at Solid Plumbing and Heating. We understand and honor the value of trying to reduce the spread of this virus so that our local healthcare system is not overwhelmed. But, in the plumbing industry, we know that what goes down doesn’t always stay down.
Whether you’ve accidentally put too much down the kitchen sink or the bathroom is just being overworked with everyone home, we’re here for you. While hundreds of area residents are now unemployed or furloughed, its paramount to practice preventative measures. If not, you could face dangerous and pricey problems. If you do have a sewer backup, be sure to call us right away to avoid creating additional health hazards. 970-769-5278
